Hi everyone!
Just thought I’d update you all with what’s in my bag for 2013
So here goes!
The Bag - Acme Made Photo Messenger
This is a great bag for streetphotography it’s discreet, light, water-resistant and it doesn’t scream photography bag.It comes with many other features including a lens cap holder built-in, will hold a playbook or anyother 7″ tablet and more little pockets than you can handle plus it’s only around £28.99 bargain!
Camera #1 - Zorki 4k
If you’ve been following my blog for a while you will know that I’m a huge fan of this little Russian marvel. This simple design that somewhat attempts to copy Leica from yesteryear but with added quirkiness.
These include such treasures as a cloth shutter that gets stuck if you change the shutter speed.
Camera #2 - Lomography La Sardina El Captain
A recent purchase of mine an extreme wide angle camera the Lomography La Sardina tis a camera shaped like a sardine tin. While this may sound ludicrous the odd shape is actually based on an old 1930s snapper – the Kandor Candid – made by the Irwin Corporation.
Along with the somewhat silly, yet endearing design, La Sardina also boasts a super-wide 22mm f/8 lens, while the flash has three different settings – a first for a Lomo camera.
I really looking forward to shooting with this camera and hopefully broadening my horizons ( no pun intended ) to using a wide angle for street photography.
Camera # 3 - Canon 40d With Holga 60mm F8 & Canon 50mm 1.8
This camera is a fantastic camera especially when used in conjunction with the Canon ef 50mm 1.8. Easy to use and amazing quality photos an absolute must for any photographer.
Film – Agfa Vista 200
A fantastic film availible for £1 a roll in Poundworld. Great colours with minimal grain which is fantastic for everyday use.
Lightmeter - Leningrad 4 light meter
Another old Soviet classic i use even though it was made in 1968 it’s still spot on to this day
I hope you all have enjoyed having a peek inside my bag for 2013!
I’ll be having a closer look at the La Sardina & The Holga Lens for Canon in the upcoming weeks with some examples
Many Thanks
Chris
